CPD Short Course: Infrastructural Asset Management (3 CPD Points) NQF L8
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Short Course: Infrastructural Asset Management is exactly the same course as Module M6 of the Postgraduate Diploma in Programme Management, which qualification is accredited at NQF Level 8. Classes are inter-active online. After completion of this short course, students will receive credit for Module M6 if they qualify for admission to the PGDipPM. There would then be two modules remaining to earn the full academic qualification. The 3 CPD credits can be claimed by accessing the ECSA website. The short course is fully aligned with with the requirements of the Project Management Institute (PMI) of the United States of America as well as with those of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). Successful candidates who have sufficient practical experience will be equipped to sit for the PMI’s PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Course Content
The content of this short course covers all aspects of full asset life cycle management, inclusive of leadership and project management facets that are crucial for AM. At the core of all AM strategies, processes, activities and decisions is the application of programme and project leadership. Programme and project management is the core business driver and facilitator for all the AM dimensions formulated and defined in ISO 55000.
Technology-Enhanced Distance Learning
All short courses are completed individually through technology-enhanced distance learning (although student collaboration is encouraged) within a relatively flexible timeframe.
Course Fee
The fee is R 21, 200.00, which includes your online study material. Persons based outside South Africa can pay in US Dollars, Euros or GB Pounds. Payment of fees must be effected before access to the course.

Assessment and Awarding of Certificates
Final assessment takes the form of a formative group assignment and an individual examination assignment. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the short course. The certificate states that the student has successfully completed the CPD Short Course: ‘Infrastructural Asset Management’. Should you achieve a distinction, this will be indicated on your certificate.
