CPD Short Course: Project Management: Leading, Creating, Implementing and Improving (3 CPD Points) NQF L7

Overview
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Short Course: Project Management: Leading, Creating, Implementing and Improving is exactly the same course as Module M1 of the Advanced Diploma in Project Management (AdvDipPM), which qualification is accredited at NQF Level 7. Classes are inter-active online.
After completion of this short course, students will receive credit for Module M1 if they qualify for admission to the AdvDipPM. There would then be two modules remaining to earn the full academic qualification.
The 3 CPD credits can be claimed by accessing the ECSA website.
The short course is fully aligned with PMI’s (Project Management Institute) PMBoK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Successful candidates who have sufficient practical experience will be equipped to sit for the PMI’s PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
The course is specifically designed for:
Working professionals who wish to master the essentials of management and apply PM principles and strategy in a work context.
The content of this short course deals largely with project management principles and strategy as applied in practice, and illustrated in the various areas of the “Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the “Competency Baseline” (ICB) of the International Project Management Association.
It prepares candidates for PMI’s PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Study materials include a textbook, live online lectures, lecture videos, a tutorial letter, and a detailed step-by-step study guide, which guides the student through the syllabus and the practical assignments.
All short courses are completed individually through technology-enhanced distance learning (although student collaboration is encouraged) within a relatively flexible timeframe.
The fee is R 19, 950.00, which includes your online study material. Persons based outside South Africa can pay in US Dollars, Euros or GB Pounds. Payment of fees must be effected before access to the course.
